I was at the dollar store the other day and spotted some of Wet Wild’s eyeshadow brushes. I’ve been wanting to buy some for a while now but couldn’t find them anywhere.

Looks wise, they’re really pretty. The white handles stand out from all of my other brushes and the pink synthetic bristles make them look really pretty when they’re in the mason jars I store my brushes in. The ergonomic handles are meant to provide a comfortable experience when using these brushes.

The brushes are super soft and comparable to the e.l.f brushes in that sense. However, when I went to use them I didn’t think they were dense enough. They were hard to control and didn’t leave me too impressed. The crease brush did an okay job at blending, but the large eyeshadow brush was just that, large! Instead of getting eyeshadow just on the lid it also went up to my crease; not very precise. The smoky liner brush is probably my favorite. Because the bristles are much shorter than the other two the brush is much easier to control and it did a nice job of blending out my eyeliner.

For a dollar, these are decent brushes. If these were being sold for $10-$15 it would be a different story. I’ll keep these brushes around for when I’m doing a look that requires a lot of different shadows, but I don’t know if I’ll be reaching for them every day.

Do you own any of the Wet n Wild brushes? What are your thoughts on them?

Thanks for reading!

XoXo,

Audrey
