A couple of posts ago I rambled on about the awful weather my town was experiencing and how un-spring like it was feeling. Well, yesterday it was 75º and sunny and today it’s meant to be 81º and sunny! Spring has FINALLY arrived and it feels so good. The beautiful weather has inspired me to go through my nail polish and pick out my favorite shades for spring.
This polish is a recent purchase and I instantly fell in love with it! Bikini So Teeny is the perfect periwinkle color for spring. The Essie formula is one of the best out there, and with the right base and top coat your manicure can easily last at least a week!
Lie-Lac from Sinful Colors is a gorgeous pastel purple shade. This color would be perfect to wear on Easter this coming Sunday 🙂 Sinful Colors can be found at Target, Walgreens, and Walmart and all the polishes are $4 and under! The formula isn’t quite as good as Essie’s is but it still lasts a decent amount of time in my opinion.
I’ve had this nail polish from Wet n’ Wild for awhile, and every time I put it on I remember how much I love it. The shade is “I Need a Refresh-Mint” and it’s a really pretty light blue. I think the name is a bit deceiving as it’s not very mint in color. The brush for this polish is the perfect shape to get the edges of your nails, which is so helpful! The polish goes on smoothly and is very opaque. It’s also very affordable, which is a win in my book!
This is another nail polish that I go back to constantly. It’s the perfect rose gold color and it goes with everything. Unfortunately it looks like this color (Chestnuts About You) is no longer sold, but rose gold is so popular that I’m sure you could find something similar.
Cozu-Melted in the Sun is the prettiest coral color. It has flecks of gold and silver microglitter that catch the light perfectly. This shade looks great against a tan and looks really nice on toes too!
