I’m writing this on Sunday evening with Property Brothers on in the background and the fireplace going. I know I said it before, but I love that blogging can be done from everywhere! Like I’ll be honest with you, I didn’t shower, put on makeup or do my hair today. But guess what? It doesn’t matter because I didn’t have to go anywhere today.

Anyways, today’s post is another fun one. Last week I shared my Christmas gift guides and this week we’re continuing with the theme of Christmas. When I think of Christmas and the holiday season I think of family, food, and lots of get-togethers! While we often plan a menu full of appetizers, main dishes, and desserts, drinks are usually not thought of.

Buying wine, beer, and soda is great, but if you really want to impress your guests try making a mixed drink! Mixed drinks don’t have to be complicated, either. The cranberry ginger fizz cocktail I’m sharing today has 4 ingredients. Five if you count the cranberry garnish. It’ll make the perfect drink to serve at Thanksgiving, Christmas, or when you have your friends around to catch up!

My favorite part of this cocktail is that the vodka is infused with Mulled Cider tea from Bluebird Tea Co. The tea contains apple pieces, ginger, rosehip, hibiscus, cinnamon, cloves, and lemon peel and provides a delicious flavor.

I also love that the cocktail is bright red; it’s so festive! It makes me want to put on Christmas music, decorate a tree and bake cookies. I honestly believe nothing is better than the holiday season!

I hope you enjoy this simple recipe for a delicious cocktail. I know I’ll be making it over and over again in the weeks to come!

  2. When you're ready to make your cocktail, remove the vodka from the fridge and strain out the tea.

  3. Combine the cranberry juice and vodka.

  4. Pour the ginger ale in with the cranberry juice and vodka.

  5. Finish with ice and cranberries for garnish!
