Black Friday is a beautiful thing. I had been wanting to place an order on e.l.f’s website for the longest time, and the 50% off sale going on was the push I needed to make it happen! I got 7 items for $22! All the items I ordered are things I’ve heard YouTubers rave about and had to try for myself. Jessica Braun (JAMbeauty89) is one of my favorite YouTubers and I ordered most things based off of her recommendations. I would highly suggest checking out her channel if you love drugstore makeup!

I will say, and it’s probably just because of the holiday season, but my order took almost two weeks to finally arrive at my house. Once it did arrive, though, I tore into it and immediately swatched everything. I don’t think I can pick a favorite item, nor can I pick something that I would tell you not to order or that isn’t worth the money. The products are all so beautiful I knew I had to share them with all of you, so let’s get into it!

The item I was most excited to receive was the Nude Rose Gold palette. It’s $10 and comes with 10 beautiful shades of pinks and browns. That’s a dollar per shadow! I’ve used this palette everyday since I’ve had it and all the colors are gorgeous. They’re actually more pigmented when you use a brush then when you swatch with your fingers, which I found interesting. Normally it’s the opposite. I needed another blending brush as well, so I threw that in my basket knowing I wouldn’t be disappointed. All of e.l.f’s brushes are inexpensive and good quality.

I ordered the blush and bronzer duo in St Lucia because it’s said to be a dupe for the Nars Orgasm/Laguna duo. I can’t tell you from my own experience if that’s true, but based off of pictures they look very similar. The e.l.f blush has beautiful golden undertones and provides a soft flush of color. The bronzer is very pigmented so use a light hand when applying it! It’s so lovely though. I can already tell I’ll go through this product quickly.

This baked highlighter in Blush Gems is gorgeous! It’s very pigmented and leaves the skin looking soft and glowy. The description for this product suggests using it wet and I can’t wait to try that. I’m sure the result will be stunning.

When I watch YouTube videos about makeup I write down any products I want to buy in a list on my phone. When Jessica Braun talked about this eyeshadow I immediately opened up my list. I don’t own any product, let alone shade of eyeshadow, like this. This is the Long-Lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow in the color Soiree. It’sย the most beautiful, glittery mauvey purple color I’ve ever seen (great description, I know!). The texture is velvety and gel like. You’ll just have to buy it yourself to see what I mean!

Clearly I was in the mood for all things purple and eyeshadow. In the pots, this Smudge Pot in Wine Not and the last eyeshadow look very similar, but when swatched you can see how different they are. This shadow is also very gel like and incredibly pigmented. Just look at that swatch! I already want to order all of the other shades. I’ve never been so impressed by a $3 shadow.

The last thing I ordered is yet another eyeshadow, surprise surprise! At least this one isn’t purple… This is one of e.l.f’s new Aqua Beauty Molten Liquid Eyeshadows in the shade Molten Bronze. The formula has purified water and Vitamin E in it to help hydrate your eyes while providing a very pigmented and metallic effect! Like the other shadows, this one does not disappoint.

I have to say, I’m quite impressed I didn’t order any lipsticks, as I have quite the addiction to them. That will be my next e.l.f haul! If you’d like me to do a more in depth review on any of these products, or if you’d like to see a makeup look with these items let me know in the comments below!
