It’s that time again, time for another favorites post! I don’t have too many products to share this month, but there are still a few I thought were worth mentioning.
The first is the Olay Regenerist micro-sculpting serum. It’s an anti-aging serum that softens and hydrates the skin will minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I’m in my early twenties but I want to combat fine lines as soon as possible, so I thought this would be a good product to start with. The formula isn’t greasy at all and is also non-comedogenic. There’s no glitter, but there is a slight sheen to the product that makes your skin really glow and look healthy. This serum also smells incredible! It smells like shampoo, but in the best way possible. An all around great product in my opinion!
The next product I really enjoyed this past month are the Eyelure Nº 083 fake lashes. I wore these on New Year’s Eve and they look so natural and seamless that I had to tell Luke I was wearing lashes for him to even notice. The applicator that comes with the lashes makes them so easy and fast to apply. I applied both lashes in about two minutes and that was maybe my third or fourth time ever wearing fake lashes.
I received a pack of six bareMinerals marvelous Moxie lipglosses from my mom for Christmas, and I genuinely love these glosses. They smell like peppermint and make your lips feel cool and tingly which I really enjoy; I know some people don’t though. Each shade has a tiny flecks of gold microglitter that looks gorgeous on the lips. I really like applying them over nude and pink and lipsticks.
Lastly, I have my favorite favorite of the month! Luke gave me my first expensive perfume as a Christmas gift, and I am so in love with it. I’d been eyeing the YSL Black Opium perfume for months now, and I not so discreetly mentioned it to Luke before Christmas. In comes in the most gorgeous sparkly black bottle with a bit of rose gold glass. The actual fragrance smells like a masculine yet sweet vanilla and is so gorgeous. I’m trying to use it sparingly considering the price, but it smells too good not to use almost every day.
That’s all for this months favorites! What did you love during the month of January?
